Florida national & state parks
This photographic reportage explores the wild heart of Florida, a peninsula defined by the pervasive and life-giving presence of water. The series documents the vast, slow-moving 'river of grass' in the Everglades National Park and the primordial swamps of Big Cypress National Preserve, to the crystal-clear freshwater springs state parks that bubble up from the aquifer. The journey continues to the state's edges, capturing the vibrant underwater life of Biscayne National Park and the undeveloped barrier islands of Canaveral National Seashore and Florida Keys. Beyond a survey of its unique locations, this work is a study in subtropical biodiversity, documenting the vital and often fragile ecosystems that make up one of America's most complex natural landscapes.
